NOTICE OF ACTION AND SERVICE BY PUBLICATION

TO: DEFENDANT REAL PROPERTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN;
DEFENDANTS Charles Maness, James Maness and Curtis Hughes, Administrator of the Estate of James Maness, their heirs, successors, executors, administrators, and assigns; and,
DEFENDANTS FICTITIOUS PARTIES A, B, C, D, E, AND F, being all persons, individuals, firms, associations, partnerships, corporations or other entities whose names are otherwise unknown to the Plaintiff but who are the persons, individuals, firms, associations, partnerships, corporations, or other entities claiming any present interest, mortgage, security interest or lien in and to the above-captioned parcels of land, and including any persons or entities claiming any future, contingent, reversionary, remainder, right of redemption, or other interest in the above-described real property and whose correct names and legal identities will be added by amendment when ascertained.
Take notice that a Verified Complaint to Quiet Title has been filed to have determined any interest you may have in the below described real property and to have the title to said real property quieted and vested in the name of Paul Dunn.
The real properties that are the subject of this cause, lying situate and being in Chambers County, Alabama, are described as follows:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 24 North, Range 26 East thence North 88 degrees East for a distance of 2222.2 feet; thence North 2 degrees West for a distance of 2326 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 02 degrees 00 minutes West for a distance of 314.0 feet for a corner; thence North 87 degrees 42 minutes East for a distance of 332.4 feet for a corner being located on the West side of County Road Number 146; thence continue along said right of way South 10 degrees 49 minutes West for a distance of 222.3 feet for a corner; thence South 88 degrees 00 minutes West for a distance of 210.0 feet to a point; thence South 17 degrees 30 minutes West for a distance of 105.0 feet to a point; thence South 88 degrees 00 minutes for a distance of 38 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Commence at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 24 North, Range 26 East, Chambers County, Alabama; thence North 88 degrees 00 minutes East 2222.2 feet; thence run North 02 degrees 00 minutes West 2326 feet; thence North 88 degrees 00 minutes East 38 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Thence continue North 88 degrees 00 minutes East 210 feet to the westerly margin of Milltown-Double Head Public Road; thence run along said road margin North 17 degrees 30 minutes East 105 feet; thence leaving said road run South 88 degrees 00 minutes West 210 feet; thence run South 17 degrees 30 minutes West 105 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, located in Section 23, Township 24 North, Range 26 East, Chambers County, Alabama. A map or plat prepared by Frank H. McCarley, L.S. Alabama, 1314, dated May 25, 1974 is attached to recorded deed and is made a part hereof by reference. Being that tract described in Deed Book 198, Page 912 of Deed Records of Chambers County, Alabama.
You are hereby notified that the above-styled action was filed against you on April 23, 2026, and that by Order entered by the Court, you are hereby commanded to plead, answer, or otherwise respond to the Complaint within 30 days of the last publication or thereafter suffer judgment in rem to be rendered against you because this notice shall be used to perfect service against all parties who cannot be personally served with a copy of the Complaint. Your response must be filed with Lisa M. Burdette, Clerk, Circuit Court of Chambers County, Alabama, Chambers County Courthouse, 2 South LaFayette Street, Suite B-114, LaFayette, AL 36862, and served upon attorney for the Plaintiff, Jacob J.
