NOTICE OF SALE

As a result of Louann Gillenwaters & George Hubert Collins having failed to pay a municipal assessment of $8,200 (Document #2025-3312) made against the following described property, pursuant to Section 11-48-49 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, the property will be sold at public auction for cash on July 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. Est at the Valley City Hall, 20 Fob James Drive, Valley, Alabama, for the purpose of paying the assessment and interest and allowable costs.

Lot Number 1, in Block “Z” together with house and improvements thereon, of the Alfred F. Zachry property, located near the Village of Shawmut, Chambers County, Alabama. A plat of said property was made by J. E. Stanley, Jr., Engineer, and is recorded in Map Volume 1, Page 46, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Chambers County, Alabama. This is the same property described in Deed Volume 233, Page 20, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Chambers County, Alabama. This also being the same property conveyed to George Hubert Collins and wife, Jayne Ethel Collins by a survivorship deed from Michael A. Gullatt, recorded in Document #1998 863, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Chambers County, Alabama with an address of 2818 16th Avenue, Valley, Alabama and shown as Tax Parcel #12-18-03-06-2-001-001.000 in the Office of the Revenue Commissioner of Chambers County, Alabama.
