NOTICE OF SALE
As a result of James R. Miles and Marrell M. Miles having failed to pay a municipal assessment of $4,000 (Document #2025-533) made against the following described property, pursuant to Section 11-48-49 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, the property will be sold at public auction for cash on July 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. Est at the Valley City Hall, 20 Fob James Drive, Valley, Alabama, for the purpose of paying the assessment and interest and allowable costs.
A tract or parcel of land containing 0.539 acre in Section 6, Township 21 North, Range 29 East, in Valley, Chambers County, Alabama, and being a portion of Lot No. 7, in Block “Z”, Todd Addition No. 2 as shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 46, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Chambers County, Alabama, and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the Northerly right of way line of 30th Street East (Gullatt Avenue) with the Southeasterly right of way line of 16th Avenue East (Alford Street) said point being the Southwest corner of Lot No.1, Block “Z” of said subdivision; thence N 22°32’00” E along the Southeasterly right of way line of 16th Avenue East for 579.31 feet; thence, continue along said right of way line N 23°03’38” E for 99.66 feet to an iron pin for the true point of beginning. FROM THIS POINT OF BEGINNING, thence continue along said right of way line N 23°03’38” E for 99.66 feet to an iron pin for a corner; thence leaving said right of way line, S 66°58’11” E for 233.63 feet to an iron pin for a corner; thence S 23°03’38” W for 101.61 feet to an iron pin for a corner; thence N 66°29’46” W for 233.71 feet to an iron pin for a corner located on the Southeasterly right of way line of 16th Avenue East which is also the point of beginning. The above-described property is shown as Parcel “C” on a plat of survey, dated February 24, 1995, prepared by Mark L. Miller, R.L.S., which is incorporated herein by reference. This property has an address of 2808 16th Avenue, Valley, Alabama and shown as Tax Parcel #12-18-03-06-1-001-030.000 in the Office of the Revenue Commissioner of Chambers County, Alabama.
